The iNSPiRE event by Omnitech is a hands-on STEM outreach program designed to engage 8th–12th grade girls across South Dakota in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Held at locations University of South Dakota in Sioux Falls, the event connected students with local professionals in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). The program offered interactive workshop on "Pizza Genomics and Diversity" by USD Biomedical Engineering graduate research assistant Jessica Zylla and undergraduate student Samuel Haas under the direction of Dr. Etienne Gnimpieba. Through workshop students explored bioinformatics by analyzing DNA from Pizza.
