Graduate students from the University of South Dakota’s Biomedical Engineering program and a high school student from Las Vegas presented original research at the Biomedical Engineering Society’s 2023 Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA, as part of the high school poster competition.Their project used virtual reality to visualize biofilms in 3D, offering a powerful new way to study growth patterns and molecular interactions.
