Undergraduate and high school students from USD Biomedical Engineering participated in Biomedical Engineering Society's 2024 Annual Meeting in Baltimore MD. The research included topics like large language models for stroke medication, machine learning for cancer biomarker detection, AI based bacterial detection in wastewater, and data transparency using Jupyter Notebook. Similarly, high school participants showcased innovative projects on virtual reality digital twins for biofilm formation and RNA referencing through harmonization frameworks. The team is committed to enhancing and expanding their research projects for presentation at the 2025 BMES Annual Meeting
